Biography

As far as interests go, apart from family, Tricia would be hard pressed to decide which was more important in her life – quilting or acting. Although acting was her first love, she is quick to admit that quilting has become an obsession.

After studying acting in college, Tricia moved to Vancouver B.C. to start a family and act in Community Theatre. She has also appeared in TV Commercials, independent and student films

A quilter for almost 2 decades, Tricia has tried to experience as many facets of the craft as possible. She owned a long-arm quilting service for many years, selling it off only because running the business left little time for personal quilting. Naturally, once free from the long-arm business, that extra time was quickly filled up with guild meetings, retreats and traveling to quilt shows. Rounding off this involvement is part-time work at a local quilt store and teaching several classes per season

Producing and hosting The Great Canadian Shop Hop is a perfect blend of acting and quilting and Tricia looks forward to many seasons of introducing Canadian Quilt Shops to the world.
