The third episode of the Great Canadian Shop Hop is now airing on QNN and archived on this website. 

 It’s been a long 6 months between filming at Country Creations in Strathmore Alberta and Satin Moon in Victoria B.C. What with planning, organizing, funding, and waiting for Satin Moon to get settled in their new building, time seemed to fly by. However, once you see the Satin Moon episode I’m sure you’ll agree the wait was worth it.

We had such fun! Like the other shops I’ve visited, Satin Moon is full of warm wonderful ladies. Added to the mix were appearances from Susan Purney-Mark, Daphne Greig, Ursula Riegel and the incomparable Cathy Miller, the singing quilter. We put in a long day of filming, but everyone was so great that although I was exhausted when Brenda drove me to the ferry to go back to Vancouver, I wished she could turn the car around and let me hang out in her store just a little bit longer! If you’re one of the lucky people who get to visit Victoria on your holidays, make sure you include Satin Moon Quilt Shop on your list of “must see” locations.
